YouVersion Bible App saves me every day!

I woke up this morning feeling so unforgivable. My past actions were haunting and hurting me. What feeling is this that couldn’t let me talk to my God? It sure was messing with my morning.

I opened my YouVersion app to read the Word of the Day as a daily routine( One that blesses me everyday).

Here is what I found: Don’t think about the past!

It was all in the past and here I was boiling over something that had happened. Just like me, a lot of us have allowed the past cling unto us. We carry them around like babies when they are burdens.

I know God loves me. Sometimes, I find it hard loving him because if the things I do. But this isn’t even about me. God has always been the one pouring out more love because I a incapable.

Like it says in that image, you should let go of the past. There is something new that is He is building in you. You can’t see it because you’re holding unto the old, the dry, the gone, the pain.

He said he is putting roads in the desert heart of yours. He’s watering that soul of yours that you’ve made so cold. He’s making it fertile to grow pretty flowers that will blossom into love. Love that is made for you and everyone around you.

I just want us to learn to drop things once they become old. The things we’ve outgrown. The things that no longer serve any good purpose in our lives. We don’t realize how these things weigh us down.

God loves you!

He doesn’t like to see you hurt. I think that’s just the greatest form of love. A love that heals. When you understand love you start to understand that letting go of the past is love.

God doesn’t keep track of our sins. It’s a good reminder that he also doesn’t think of the past that doesn’t serve us any good.

Burn the obsolete God damn thing that keeps you from experiencing the God kind of Love that heals. That’s my point here!

I hope you have a lovely day thinking of all the things that are turning your green heart to a desert.

Bye!
