I know tomorrow will surprise me
Who knows where I would be tomorrow?
The uncertainty we live each day of our lives with can be scary. Regardless of what the future holds, we are not scared to keep moving. Holding unto the sun and the moon as they make their turns.
Who would we be tomorrow?
We do not know. We can only trust that all things fall on fertile soil and favor us in the time of harvest. We hope to be better versions of ourselves. We hope to have learned from our mistakes. We hope that in the future, we are broken individuals who have come to accept ourselves.
And when tomorrow comes, we would look back at all the broken glasses that pierce our skin, the suffering that took away our sleep, the responsibilities we had no choice but to deal with and say Thank you. Because of all of the trauma that brought us to our acceptance, all the struggles that slowly molded us, and all the battles we won and lost, all of them would count as a story.
Our story is unique in its way and perfectly told to generations
Our story would be the smiles we would carry on our faces, when all that is, comes to an end.
